Job summary

CITY HOME is seeking a Building Custodian in Tamarac, FL to maintain a clean and safe work environment for all Associates. The role reports to the Building Custodian Supervisor within the Facilities Department.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and restroom sanitation—plus supporting showroom and clearance center areas as needed. Requires high school diploma or GED, 1 year of cleaning experience, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Education & work experience: High school diploma or GED; 1 year of office cleaning experience.
• 40 hours per week in a corporate office/showroom setting, including one weekend day.
• Physical requirements: bending and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Proficiency in reading and speaking English.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors in offices and conference rooms (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming).
• Dust office furniture, clean windows, sanitize surfaces; collect trash and recycling.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, restocking dispensers.
• Maintain showroom/restrooms at Sawgrass Showroom and Clearance Center as assigned.
