Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking a qualified Janitor to support facilities operations at Fort Meade, Maryland. The role includes cleaning, sanitizing, floor care, waste removal, and general custodial duties in Government-owned facilities to maintain clean, safe, and professional spaces in compliance with contract requirements.

Requirements include the ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a facilities support team.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic janitorial and custodial cleaning practices.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine janitorial and custodial services in assigned facilities.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, hallways and common areas.
• Handle trash/recycling and replenish supplies.
• Perform floor care and spot cleaning as needed.
• Report safety or facility issues to supervision.
