Job summary

US&S is seeking a Janitor/Custodian to maintain clean, sanitary, and safe Greenville, SC facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning bathrooms, dusting, mopping floors, emptying trash, and reporting hazards. In the absence of a Floor Technician, duties may include buffing floors and detail work.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass background screening.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol screening tests.
• Ability to obtain a security badge as required by the client.
• Authorized to work in the US per E-Verify requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the environment is clean and sanitized.
• Clean and sanitize all assigned areas incl. bathrooms.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop floors and stairs.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Dispose of debris and maintain a tidy environment.
• Report hazards or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures, and use chemicals per SDS.
