Job summary

Pitkin County is seeking a diligent Custodian to maintain safety and sanitation across County facilities, grounds, and buildings in Aspen. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and a Colorado driver's license. Candidates may have up to 1 year of custodial experience; Level III adds 3+ years.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Up to 1 year of previous maintenance or custodial experience is preferred.
• Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wax, and polish hard surface floors.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpeted floors.
• Clean restrooms and maintain restroom supplies.
• Wash windows and spot-clean as needed.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down meetings; secure buildings.
