Job summary

Mission Linen Supply in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Custodian to maintain housekeeping across the plant, offices, parking lots, loading/unloading areas and lawns. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, wall washing, and cleaning fixtures.

Qualifications

• Sweep, mop, wash floors; vacuum; wax floors periodically.
• Wash walls and inside windows with cleaning solutions and cloths.
• Clean offices, move furniture, dispose trash, clean fixtures, and reach high areas with ladders.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, hot wash, vacuum floors and periodically wax floors.
• Wash walls and inside windows by using water, cleaning solutions, sponge and cloth.
• Clean offices, move furniture, vacuum, gather and dispose of trash, clean lighting fixtures, window tops and ledges using rags, ladders and other housekeeping equipment.
• Clean overhead areas such as pipes and machinery with compressed air hoses or cloths.
• Pick up litter and perform ground keeping duties around plant property, parking lot, lawns, and walkways.
• Assemble cleaning supplies and equipment and transport them to designated cleaning area.
