Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking a Janitor in Shelton, CT to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment across office spaces, manufacturing areas, and common areas.

The role emphasizes dependable, detail-oriented work and adherence to safety procedures. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, breakrooms, and shared spaces; operating standard cleaning equipment; reporting hazards to the Facilities Manager; and assisting with facility readiness for events.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial/custodial experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals safely.

Responsabilités

• General cleaning of offices, manufacturing floors, and common areas.
• Sanitize and maintain restrooms, breakrooms, kitchens, and surfaces.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies; report hazards to Facilities Manager.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE as required.
• Prepare spaces for events and visitors; assist with facility maintenance tasks.
