Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking a dependable janitorial associate to maintain cleanliness across production, retail, break rooms, and restrooms. You will follow written checklists, sanitize surfaces, stock supplies, and manage cleaning equipment daily.

The role requires reliable attendance and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to GMP and hygiene policies in a food production setting. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written checklists and verbal instructions accurately.
• Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitizing practices, and safe handling.
• Willingness to follow food safety, GMP, and company hygiene policies in a food production environment.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic communication skills; ability to document work on forms.
• Prior janitorial or sanitation experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production, retail, break room, and restroom areas daily.
• Sweep, vacuum, and maintain floors, floor drains, and the garage.
• Sanitize administrative offices and restrooms on the assigned schedule.
• Stock and refill supplies such as hair nets, gloves, restroom tissue, hand towels, soap, and cleaners.
• Check and maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals, including vacuum bags and dispensers.
• Confirm garage freezer product stock levels and check freezer inventory daily.
• Collect and dispose of trash on all floors.
• Complete additional tasks when directed by the supervisor.
• Initial, time, and sign the daily cleaning checklist to certify items are cleaned and food safe.
