Velocity Staffing is seeking a dependable janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety in our facility. You will vacuum, mop, clean restrooms, shampoo carpets, replace bulbs, and handle basic maintenance tasks.

A strong work ethic and familiarity with cleaning equipment are essential. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of janitorial experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of janitorial experience.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
• Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Strong work ethic and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily
• Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis
• Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees
• Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete
• Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs
