Job summary

Velociti Services is seeking a dedicated Utility Worker to support cleaning, facility maintenance, and event setup. The role involves restrooms, common areas, floor care, and material handling, with teamwork to ensure a safe, clean environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and prior custodial or general labor experience; ability to operate cleaning equipment is a plus. This is an on-site, full-time role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Custodial, janitorial, warehouse, facilities, or general labor experience preferred.
• Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Maintain restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to cleanliness standards.
• Assist with floor care such as buffing, scrubbing, stripping, and waxing floors.
• Move furniture and materials as needed.
• Support facility setup and breakdown for events.
• Report repair needs and perform minor maintenance tasks.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Assist with inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements.
