Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months experience in custodial, general or building maintenance, grounds keeping, or related repair work; or equivalent education/experience.
• Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties to maintain cleanliness of residence halls, apartments, dining facilities, and other assigned areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on buildings, facilities, and equipment.
• Use PPE and operate industrial cleaning equipment such as high-speed buffers, burnishers, shampooers, and vacuum cleaners.
• Move heavy items up to approximately 50 pounds; stand, bend, stoop, and climb ladders as needed.
• Typical work hours may be 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
