Job summary

OCLC is seeking a Custodian in Dublin, Ohio to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace. You will handle routine and non-routine custodial tasks, support events, manage supplies, and report safety issues to the Facilities Manager.

The role requires a high school diploma and custodial experience, with a hybrid work environment and access to on-site facilities and wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Custodial field.
• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the building and its contents to a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Perform routine custodial tasks including trash removal, sanitizing and restroom restocking.
• Replace lamps in fluorescent and incandescent fixtures.
• Perform non-routine custodial duties including floor stripping/waxing and carpet cleaning.
• Provide custodial support during and after events sponsored by OCLC or external groups.
• Restock and inventory custodial supplies.
• Notify Facilities Manager of supply shortages.
• Report safety-related items to Facilities Manager.
• Seek assistance to avoid injuries and ensure safe work practices.
• Ensure equipment is kept clean and in good repair; store chemicals properly.
