Job summary

Oilgear is seeking a diligent Custodian to maintain a clean, safe facility across offices and manufacturing areas. You will sanitize restrooms, manage waste, and keep workspaces organized, while following safety procedures for chemical handling.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interact professionally with employees, visitors, and customers.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures, policies, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility.
• Dust furniture, equipment, workstations, and other surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in offices, hallways, breakrooms, and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize breakroom tables, chairs, counters, appliances, and floors.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
• Follow established safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain work areas and storage locations in a clean and organized manner.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or facility issues to management.
• Assist with facility housekeeping projects as assigned.
