Qualifications

• Must be physically able to perform cleaning tasks

• Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects as required
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety procedures
• Willingness to perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Must be reliable with regular attendance and punctuality
• Familiarity with basic maintenance and cleaning chemicals preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of school buildings and grounds
• Clean interior spaces including classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
• Sanitize restrooms and plumbing fixtures; restock supplies
• Perform floor care: sweeping, mopping, polishing, and equipment operation
• Move and arrange furniture for events and daily use
• Monitor custodial supplies and assist with ordering
• Report safety hazards and maintenance issues to supervisors
• Support opening/closing routines and security checks
• Assist with building systems monitoring when trained
• Perform additional custodial duties as directed by supervisors
