Job summary

The Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska is seeking a Custodian II (Facilities) to perform custodial and housekeeping tasks in the Tribal Facilities Program at the Winnebago, NE location. The role involves routine cleaning, minor repairs, and the use of custodial equipment, with supervision and adherence to established standards.

Responsibilities include restocking supplies, floor care, window washing, and assisting with room setups and snow removal as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Some knowledge of cleaning materials, methods, equipment, and procedures.
• Ability to make minor repairs and adjustments to building fixtures and equipment.
• Ability to operate vacuum cleaners, buffers, and other custodial equipment.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work effectively with other employees and staff.
• Occasionally perform heavy manual work.
• Pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Winnebago Tribe's core mission, vision and values.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and replenish supplies; clean water fountains.
• Change light bulbs, report repairs needed.
• Sweep, vacuum, wax, mop, and buff floors; dust and clean offices, rooms, cafeteria, gym; remove trash; wash walls and windows.
• Move furniture and equipment; set up rooms and gym; keep walkways clear of snow.
• Stock restroom supplies; strip and wax floors when assigned.
• Attend required meetings and perform related duties as assigned.
