Job summary

The State of Colorado, Division of Facilities Management - South District, is seeking a full-time Custodian to provide custodial services at Pueblo facilities, including CMHHIP and PRC. This in-person, essential position requires Colorado residency at the time of application.

You will perform daily cleaning, floor care, trash disposal, and coordinate with departments to maintain a safe, sanitary environment for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Three months of cleaning experience required.
• Must be willing to pass a full background check.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license.
• Ability to follow set cleaning procedures and schedules.
• Essential position with in-person responsibilities across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cleaning, sanitizing, and servicing of assigned areas.
• Operates cleaning equipment and uses disinfectants per procedures.
• Drives State vehicles between sites as needed.
• Performs weekly and project floor work including buffing and waxing.
• Collects and disposes of trash and maintains janitorial closet and supplies.
• Cleans and services equipment and may assist in snow removal when required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
