Job summary

The Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) is seeking custodial staff to perform housekeeping and custodial services across multiple facilities in the North District. The role ensures a safe, sanitary environment and compliance with regulatory standards for clients and staff.

Position involves daily cleaning, detail work, and periodic project cleaning, with responsibilities including trash disposal, furniture movement, snow removal, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Three months of full-time cleaning experience.
• Must be able to meet State of Colorado residency requirements.
• Experience with restroom and floor cleaning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of assigned areas per schedules.
• Carry out weekly floor maintenance and carpet cleaning as needed.
• Collect trash and biohazard waste following proper procedures.
• Assist with moving furniture and equipment for cleaning projects.
• Maintain janitorial closets, stock levels, and chemical labeling.
