Job summary

COSI in Columbus, OH is seeking a Custodial Services Specialist for a full-time, hourly, non-exempt role with a 9:00–6:00pm schedule, Wed–Sun. The candidate will maintain restrooms, eating areas, exhibits, meeting rooms and circulation spaces to ensure a clean, safe environment for guests and team members.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in commercial custodial work, a solid understanding of cleaning equipment and safety, and the ability to lift up to 30 lb solo (60 lb with assistance).

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year commercial custodial experience.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning and building safety.
• Flexible to schedule changes to meet COSI needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training new Support Services Team Members.
• Clean Restrooms, Eating Areas, Exhibits and Meeting Rooms.
• Dispose waste and recycle in designated receptacles.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in assigned area.
• Work from ladders and lifts safely as required.
• Participate as a member of the Floor Team.
• Support general operations and safety initiatives.
