Job summary

Torrance Casting seeks a Custodial Technician in La Crosse, WI. This full-time, non-exempt role supports daily operations by cleaning, maintaining facilities, and performing groundskeeping tasks to keep the property welcoming and safe.

Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and involves both indoor and outdoor responsibilities. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, floors, windows, and common areas; setting up for events; shoveling snow and maintaining outdoor walkways in winter; and

Qualifications

• Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Willing to learn and take on tasks.
• Endurance to bend, stoop, walk during shifts.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to use a computer to log work.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust floors, furniture and fixtures.
• Empty trash and recycling; replace liners as needed.
• Clean windows, glass doors, mirrors; restock supplies.
• Set up and tear down for meetings or events.
• Maintain exterior cleanliness and landscaping tasks as needed.
