Rock Valley Community Programs, Inc in Wisconsin is seeking a Custodian to maintain clean, safe facilities and grounds. The role includes custodial duties, groundskeeping, painting, and general maintenance. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while managing multiple tasks.

Schedule: Monday–Friday. Qualifications include a high school diploma preferred, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, valid license, and background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must complete TB test, and drug screening (on-site).
• Completion of CPR, First Aid, CBRF Fire Safety, and Choking training within 90 days.
• Employment is contingent upon passing a state and federal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and safety inspections.
• Respond to work orders promptly.
• Contact vendors as needed and maintain a log of all calls and dates of service.
• Maintain maintenance department equipment and tools in working order.
• Establish and maintain an inventory of all department equipment and tools.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors and restrooms in common areas.
• Perform trash removal in designated areas.
• Perform minor painting and maintenance tasks to facility/equipment.
• Ensure mowing and grounds upkeep is performed on time.
• Be available for snow removal and sanding/salting walkways in winter.
• Notify the Facility Director concerning repairs or needed equipment.
