Qualifications

• At least 1 year of custodial or maintenance experience, preferably in schools or community facilities.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment.
• Experience with floor care equipment and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work safely at heights.
• Must pass background checks and drug screening.
• Driver’s license required with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain floors with sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Sanitize and restock restrooms throughout the day.
• Empty trash and recycling; dispose of waste properly.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Assist with floor care including stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Report needed repairs or hazards promptly.
• Collaborate professionally with staff and demonstrate reliability and teamwork.
• Support event setups and breakdowns as needed.
• Maintain exterior grounds and snow/ice management.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
