Job summary

Warren CAT in Midland, TX is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean building and grounds, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom sanitizing. Some locations may require landscape tasks as part of the role.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of cleaning methods, experience with cleaning equipment, and basic computer skills. Travel up to 5% and a safety‑sensitive designation apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning methods.
• Experience with using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning solutions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to interpret material safety data sheet and apply basic math skills to mix chemical ingredients.
• Ability to clearly communicate, both verbally and in written format.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Successfully complete Work Steps assessment.

Responsibilities

• Mix cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning according to instructions.
• Regularly check supply levels and replenish as needed (such as toilet paper, towels, soap, chemicals, and disinfectants).
• Operate cleaning equipment to maintain a clean office and shop restrooms and dressing rooms including degreasing floors as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning duties such as dusting furniture, mopping, scrubbing, sanitizing, vacuuming floors, steam cleaning carpets, and maintaining clean restroom facilities.
• Empty and dispose trash in dumpsters and or compactors in a safe and clean manner.
• Clean trash around property including the cutting, trimming, and leaf blowing of landscape of property, this varies by location of position.
• Notify supervisor regarding repairs on cleaning equipment and cleaning supply inventory levels.
• Other duties as required by supervisor.
