Job summary

Heritage Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Custodian to perform daily cleaning and maintenance of our corporate building. The role emphasizes a clean, safe, welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors, and requires adherence to all policies and safety standards.

The position offers both full-time and part-time options with variable shifts, including evenings and weekends. A compassionate, professional approach is essential when interacting with individuals served by Heritage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in commercial cleaning preferred.
• Experience in environments serving individuals with mental illness or substance use disorders is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and sweep all floors throughout the facility.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
• Clean and sanitize kitchens and break room areas.
• Dust surfaces, furniture, and fixtures throughout the building.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including fixtures, floors, and surfaces.
• Restock supplies including paper products, soap, and other consumables as needed.
• Clean interior and exterior windows as scheduled.
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment including vacuum cleaners and custodial carts.
• Perform other duties as assigned consistent with this role.
