Job summary

Clemson University is seeking a Building/Grounds Specialist Custodial for a 7:30am - 3:30pm shift. You will join a skilled custodial team to perform housekeeping, floor care, and carpet care tasks, while assisting with inventory management and supply distribution.

You will participate in inspections, safety trainings, and on-call responses, including emergencies and winter weather events.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial, housekeeping or pest control work directly related to area.
• 1+ year work experience in custodial/housekeeping roles.
• Preferred certification in custodial services.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and floor care.
• Inspect buildings with supervisor and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain inventory, order supplies and restock restrooms.
• Complete custodial training and respond to emergencies, weekends and snow callbacks.
