Job summary

NANA Management Services seeks a dependable Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across client facilities and remote camps. You will perform custodial tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and ensure supplies are stocked while following SDS and company policies.

Effective communication, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential to deliver excellent service in a fast-paced environment. This role may involve light maintenance and rigorous safety adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or custodial experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment, floor care techniques, cleaning chemicals, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to safely operate custodial equipment, including vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and related equipment.
• Must successfully complete all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a hair follicle drug screening, physical assessment, and criminal background check.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as required by the contract.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively as a member of a team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Must maintain compliance with all NMS safety policies, client requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, dormitories, kitchens, break rooms, and common areas.
• Operate custodial equipment and chemicals following SDS and safety policies.
• Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards to supervision in a timely manner.
• Perform light maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and basic upkeep as directed.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service to clients and guests.
• Wear PPE and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Comply with all NMS policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
