Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas in a Texas facility. You will perform janitorial duties, operate cleaning equipment, and support safety and environmental procedures while interacting professionally with staff and customers.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 4PM–12:30AM, with a pay range of $14.50–$15.50 per hour; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

No specific education requirement; 3-6 months training or experience preferred.
May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
May be forklift certified.

Responsibilities

Perform janitorial duties.
Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
Handle hazardous waste collection, sorting, storage, shipping and labeling as required.
Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
Comply with safety rules, policies and procedures.
Work in a team with other employees.
Maintain clean work area.
Follow protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
Take direction and respond to supervision.
Interact with leaders, coworkers, managers, and customers professionally.
Fill in during staff shortages and support shift lead with punch-list items.
Use proper personal protective equipment.
Present a professional appearance and conduct.
Understand customer service and satisfaction.
Understand reporting systems and the environment.
