Job summary

THK Manufacturing of America in Hebron, OH is seeking a reliable custodian to keep offices, restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, and common areas clean and orderly during standard day shifts. You will also help maintain production areas and facility spaces with attention to safety and quality.

Key duties include floor care (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming), trash and recycling removal, restocking supplies, window and surface cleaning, and assisting with meetings or events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support team needs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, hallways, production areas, and common spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed
• Clean windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces as required
• Maintain cleanliness of cafeterias, conference rooms, and training areas
• Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Support housekeeping expectations throughout the plant and assist with special cleaning projects
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Assist with facility setup or cleanup for meetings, events, or company activities
• Operate floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial equipment safely and effectively
• Help maintain outside areas including entrances, sidewalks, and seasonal duties as needed
• Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
