Job summary

Wabtec is seeking an entry-level Custodian to join the Maintenance Department in Williamsburg, VA. You will perform general cleaning of offices, break rooms, restrooms, and production areas while supporting safety and efficiency.

The role requires 18+ years, a high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Hours are Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:00 pm, with potential overtime and a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to learn custodial and simple building maintenance practices and procedures.
• Operate custodial and building maintenance equipment.
• Basic computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Follow custodial and building maintenance practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial services as per Custodian Checklist for general offices and production areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors; dust and clean surfaces; wash windows and restrooms.
• Perform light maintenance and yard work as needed (snow removal, lawn care).
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and follow safety guidelines.
