Job summary

Explore Industries is seeking dependable custodial staff for our Knoxville facilities. You will help keep offices, production areas, and restrooms clean and organized, contributing to a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

The role involves cleaning floors, restocking supplies, and following safety procedures with cleaning chemicals. No heavy licensing is required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities experience preferred but not required.
• Experience using cleaning equipment, supplies, and basic maintenance tools is a plus.
• Ability to read basic instructions, follow cleaning procedures, and learn new processes.
• Ability to safely handle and use cleaning products according to company procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain office areas, production areas, and restroom facilities.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces as needed.
• Clean and restock bathrooms with necessary supplies.
• Empty trash containers and remove waste to designated disposal areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of break rooms, and other common areas.
• Follow proper safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform other cleaning duties as assigned.
