Job summary

Controlled Contamination Services in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a part-time Janitor to handle basic cleaning of interiors, offices, restrooms, and common areas as contracted.

Responsibilities include trash removal, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, reporting hazards, and following safety rules. GED or high school diploma and the ability to perform basic arithmetic are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Responsibilities

• Pick up trash and replace with trash liners.
• Vacuum, mop, strip and wax, and sweep all floor areas.
• Dust, wall spot, clean all glass, polish, sanitize all areas.
• Wash, clean, wipe down, sponge, rinse, scour and disinfect any assigned work area.
• Note and report all areas in need of repair and any hazardous condition requiring correction.
• Adhere to all safety rules and requirements and all policies and procedures
• Report all damage to customer property, suspicious activities and unsafe conditions within their work area to the supervisor.
• All other duties as defined by supervisor.
