Job summary

Indian Rivers Behavioral Health in Tuscaloosa, AL seeks a dependable Custodian to perform general cleaning across offices, lobby, restrooms and common areas. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00am–7:00pm.

Responsibilities include trash disposal, floor care, stocking supplies, maintaining equipment and reporting maintenance needs. Requirements: high school diploma, valid Alabama driver’s license, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Alabama driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of offices, hallways, lobby, group rooms, entrances and restrooms.
• Collect and dispose of trash with minimal disruption to staff.
• Sweep and mop floors, ensure supplies are stocked and equipment maintained.
• Notify supervisor of maintenance needs and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Adhere to attendance, safety, HIPAA guidelines, and company policies.
