The Clarke County School District is seeking a dedicated Custodian to join the Facilities team. The role focuses on thorough custodial services at designated sites, supporting classroom activities and campus events while ensuring a welcoming, safe, and clean environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key responsibilities include site cleaning, safety checks, equipment operation, and assisting with event setup. Prior custodial experience and a valid Georgia driver’s license are preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license.
• Criminal Justice Fingerprint required.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with site cleanup, including ice and snow removal.
• Clean classrooms, offices, gyms, and pools to sanitary, safe standards.
• Prepare the site for daily operations; inspect grounds and facilities for hazards.
• Replenish supplies in classrooms and restrooms.
• Respond to safety concerns and alarms; escalate as needed.
