Job summary

Leggett & Platt Inc. is seeking a Custodial Technician for on-site work at our Carthage, MO corporate office, with hours Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm. You will perform cleaning, sanitizing, and security duties while following instructions and meeting safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds; opportunity for weekend/holiday coverage may arise.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent vocational training.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Responsible and trustworthy.
• Requires walking, carrying, bending, lifting; ability to lift 25 pounds.
• May be asked to pick up volunteer shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of building facility cleaning tasks.
• Conduct sanitizing and disinfecting of high touch points daily.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and work independently.
• Walk corporate building routes.
• Perform partial security duties.
• Occasional holidays, weekends, and phone coverage may be required.
