Job summary

Leggett & Platt Inc. seeks a Custodial Technician to maintain cleanliness and safety in our Carthage corporate facility. This on-site role features a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, in a large manufacturing environment where teamwork and reliability matter.

You will perform building cleaning tasks, disinfect high-touch areas daily, follow instructions, walk building routes, and may assist with security duties. Occasional holidays or weekends could be required.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent vocational training.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Requires ability to lift 25 pounds and perform walking/standing for long periods.

This is an on-site position at our corporate office in Carthage, MO. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm.

So, what will you be doing as a Custodial Technician?

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Requires a lot of walking, carrying, bending, lifting, and must have ability to lift 25-pound boxes
• This role may have the opportunity for picking up volunteer shifts to fill-in for absences and holidays
