Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Custodian to perform a broad range of cleaning duties at our Jacksonville location. The successful candidate will follow directions, work well with a team, and handle various cleaning equipment including backpack vacuums.

Responsibilities include floor care, dusting, window cleaning, restroom maintenance, and waste disposal. The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and energy to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities require no previous experience.
• Able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Use a portable vacuum cleaner – backpack style.
• Requires attention to detail, pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high energy.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other surfaces.
• Operate floor buffers and shampoo machines with attachments.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean and shampoo as directed.
• Wash windowsills and glass in interior doors and windows.
• Restock bathroom supplies and maintain cleanliness of restrooms.
• Report defects such as clogged urinals or out lights to supervisors.
• Collect and dispose of building trash daily.
• Replace liners in waste baskets as needed.
• Perform high dusting, leather and wood surface polishing.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
