Job summary

Qualifications

• Less than high school; no previous experience required.
• Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Responsibilities

• Performs general custodial duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.
• Maintains custodial equipment and supplies.
• Empties trash receptacles and disposes trash.
• Unlocks and locks doors after cleaning.
• Reports needs and concerns to appropriate staff and may submit or recommend work orders.
• Assists in on-the-job training of new staff.
• Performs cleaning functions for assigned facilities and seasonal/project requirements.
• May assist vendors or report issues; may perform snow removal or minor maintenance.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
