Job summary

Hall of Fame Village in Canton, Ohio, is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to lead recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management of custodial staff while supporting daily facilities operations. The ideal candidate will promote high cleaning standards, ensure safety, and drive efficiency across campuses.

You will oversee inventory, coordinate with vendors, and respond to incidents, ensuring compliance with health and SDS requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of Supervisory experience.
• 5 years custodial or housekeeping experience.
• Experience with chemical SDS, large cleaning equipment, and third-party vendors.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Able to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Must be able to communicate professionally with staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise custodial staff and handle personnel matters.
• Oversee campus-wide custodial operations to keep facilities clean and safe.
• Schedule and manage third-party cleaners and waste services.
• Develop and monitor cleaning and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Perform routine facility inspections and ensure sanitation standards.
• Respond to incidents and safety hazards promptly.
• Manage SDS and safety compliance.
• Maintain inventory records and supplier relationships.
