Job summary

GDI, Inc. is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to lead the cleaning team on the 5pm–1am shift, ensuring safe, efficient operations and high-quality custodial services for facilities across the United States and Canada.

The role requires 2–3 years of hands-on custodial experience, strong leadership and communication skills, knowledge of floor care equipment, and physical stamina to move supplies and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Experience: Typically 2–3 years hands-on custodial or commercial cleaning.
• Leadership: Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Technical knowledge: Familiarity with heavy equipment and OSHA safety rules.
• Physical stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy supplies.

Responsibilities

• Staff management: Assign daily cleaning duties and train custodial personnel.
• Quality control: Inspect work to ensure standards and health requirements.
• Inventory control: Monitor stock levels and place orders when low.
• Safety & compliance: Enforce safety protocols for chemicals.
