Job summary

Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, salary range $48,000–$52,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or a related field from a four-year college or university; 3–5 years of experience or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the activities of employees in the Custodial program.
• Train and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure custodial services meet the needs of the site.
• Ensure custodial personnel have the equipment and supplies necessary to perform their job.
• Issues supplies to custodians as needed.
• Conduct regular quality, service, and safety inspections and report results with emphasis on repairs.
• Evaluate and recommend new custodial supplies and equipment by testing.
• Ensure specified contract services are provided by the contractor by inspecting the work performed.
• Advise the immediate supervisor when shortcomings or deficiencies are noted.
• Report employee and customer issues to supervisor.
• Report accidents and incidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Carry out management responsibilities per policies and laws.
• Interview, hire, plan, assign, and direct work.
• Ensure team members comply with SBM policies and procedures.
• Provide coaching, discipline, and encouragement to team members.
• Address complaints and resolve problems.
• Ensure proper training on tasks and safety requirements.
• Monitor PPE usage and supplies.
• Recommend corrective actions for areas needing improvement.
• Review and maintain attendance and performance metrics.
