Bexar County PA is seeking a Lead Custodian for the South Flores Street Parking Garage in San Antonio. Under general supervision, you will lead custodial staff, coordinate cleaning, schedule tasks, train team members, and maintain safety and regulatory standards.

You will ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, perform routine maintenance on tools, report issues, work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends, and support the Custodial Supervisor when needed.

Qualifikationen

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and 2 years custodial experience, including 1 year in a lead role.
• Knowledge of proper chemical storage, use and inventory.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends; bilingual in Spanish.

• Lead other employees in providing custodial services, including cleaning, scheduling, staff assignment, and training.
• Motivate custodial team and coordinate daily activities under supervision.
• Plan, assign, monitor, and inspect custodial work; enforce PPE usage at all times.
• Inspect areas with Custodial Supervisor and report needs or concerns; maintain good rapport with building staff.
• Lead custodial operations in supervisor's absence; perform routine custodial duties as needed.
• Handle equipment maintenance, restock supplies, and ensure safety in chemical handling.
