Job summary

PRIDE Industries is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee daily custodial operations at a large facility. The role involves leading staff, ensuring safety standards, and coordinating cleaning activities to maintain a clean environment.

The position requires knowledge of custodial practices and OSHA regulations, with emphasis on working with diverse populations. Onsite work with potential physical demands is expected.

Qualifications

• At least one year of custodial experience.
• Effective written and oral communication; able to respond to questions from clients and others.
• Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities and/or physical challenges preferred.
• Knowledge of Cal OSHA and OSHA occupational safety regulations.
• Knowledge of custodial operations, equipment, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversees custodial staff to perform maintenance and cleaning in a large facility.
• Prioritizes and assigns tasks and coaches staff.
• Inspects work areas regularly to ensure quality and safety.
• Trains staff in proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Oversees waxing and buffing of floors.
• Monitors custodial equipment for safe operation.
• Orders and maintains supplies and equipment.
• Fills in for staff when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
