Job summary

Mentor Technical Group seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee building operations, space planning, and security systems across designated sites, including Boston and San Francisco offices. The role ensures safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient maintenance programs.

You will coordinate with vendors, lead preventive maintenance, and support CAPA, quality, and EHS initiatives to meet KPIs and company standards.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required; associate degree preferred.
  • Or degree/Technical College diploma with 6+ years of experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain office equipment, space and telecommunications for designated buildings.
  • Test building security systems as requested.
  • Plan future building space and supply needs for the Site.
  • Communicate with suppliers and update company executives regularly.
  • Schedule preventive maintenance and participate in emergency preparedness plans; schedule services with subcontractors.
  • Generate purchase requisitions as required by the Facilities Manager.
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses for subcontracted work.
  • Support related Investigation and CAPA; develop quality and EHS trainings.
  • Audit facilities areas for compliance with Maintenance, Quality & EHS standards.
  • Self and reporting personnel Learning Plan.
  • Responsible for landscaping (Building & Grounds) program as required.
  • Support EHS programs and Site KPIs development.

Responsibilities
  • Work is managed under a Facilities Manager to maintain office equipment, physical space and telecommunications systems for designated buildings.
  • Test building security systems, as requested.
  • Plan future building space and supply needs for the Site.
  • Communicate with suppliers and update company executives regularly.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance, respond to urgent maintenance calls and participate in the creation of emergency preparedness plans. Contact and schedule services with subcontractors.
  • Generate purchase requisitions as required by the Facilities Manager and superiors
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis for subcontracted work.
  • If in charge of multiple buildings, may be accountable of additional Facilities Coordinators.
  • Support to any related Investigation and CAPA. Including Quality Calendar, Quality Plans, EHS Plan, Self-Inspections actions, BMP, C-Seguro actions. Perform Root Cause Analysis.
  • Develop, revise and/or conduct trainings for SOP's (Quality, EHS and Facilities Maintenance).
  • Audit facilities areas for compliance with standards set by the Maintenance, Quality & EHS Owner's Departments. Areas to audit should be, as a minimum, Housekeeping, Pest Control, Work Order Compliance, Maintenance Program, Contractor Safety Program, Refrigerants Program (RCM) and Gap assessments.
  • Perform work field inspections, as requested.
  • Comply with Pest Control and Refrigerant Programs, as required.
  • Self and reporting personnel Learning Plan.
  • Responsible of landscaping (Building & Grounds) program as required or based on scope of work.
  • Support to EHS programs and Site’s KPIs development, discussion and presentation.
  • Support Contractor Safety program.
Requirements/Qualifications
  • High School diploma is required; Associate degree or equivalent from 2-year college technical school preferred.
  • Or degree, Technical College diploma with 6+ years of experience required or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
