  • Inventory & Asset Management: track office supplies and equipment; monitor inventory; physical tasks.

Position Summary

About Rung for Women The Facilities Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that Rung for Women’s campus is safe, welcoming, and operating at optimal performance. Many of Rung’s Members come from stressful, over-full lives; our campus is designed to be a place of respite, focus, and possibility. This role ensures the physical environment supports that mission. The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, and energized by operations. Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 12:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Additional hours vary and may include Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.


Key Responsibilities

Campus Operations & Maintenance


  • Ensure the campus is clean, safe, and well‑maintained at all times.

  • Conduct daily inspections to identify maintenance, safety, and supply needs.

  • Triage maintenance, office equipment, and IT service requests; dispatch to appropriate vendors and track through resolution.

  • Submit, coordinate, and follow up on service requests with contracted partners.

  • Maintain accurate vendor and contractor contact lists and track inspection and maintenance schedules.

  • Assist with preparing operational reports (e.g., access card usage).


Event & Space Support


  • Set up and break down conference and event spaces, including moving and stacking chairs and tables.

  • Train staff on the use of audiovisual equipment and provide basic troubleshooting support.

  • Support on‑campus events and external partner activities as needed.


Safety & Policy Management


  • Develop, maintain, and enforce operations and safety policies and procedures.

  • Coordinate ongoing safety training and emergency drills.

  • Support staff onboarding by orienting new hires to campus procedures and safety protocols.

  • Partner with the Director of Operations on staff offboarding, including equipment collection.


Inventory & Asset Management


  • Manage inventory of office supplies, facilities equipment, child watch supplies, beverage stations, vending machines, and physical assets.

  • Monitor inventory levels to minimize loss and ensure operational readiness.

  • Perform physical tasks as required, including lifting up to 40 lbs., climbing ladders, pushing carts and trash bins, and walking the campus exterior.


Other Duties


  • Provide excellent customer service for Members, staff, and guests.

  • Complete other duties as assigned to support campus operations and organizational goals.


Qualifications & Experience


  • At least two years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or a related field.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, hospitality, or a related discipline preferred.

  • Strong customer service orientation and problem‑solving mindset.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

  • Collaborative, flexible, and solutions‑oriented approach.

  • Ability to motivate and support others while remaining responsive to their needs.

  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. as needed.
