Job summary

Greater Seacoast Health is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to help keep our Wakefield and Somersworth locations safe, functional, and welcoming for patients and staff. The role is full-time, non-exempt, offering a competitive hourly wage and the chance to work across multiple sites.

You’ll perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and regular walkthroughs, prioritizing issues and coordinating with the Facilities Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs across multiple locations.
• Conduct interior and exterior inspections to identify issues.
• Monitor basic building systems and coordinate with manager on larger repairs.
• Prioritize tasks and manage day-to-day facilities responsibilities independently.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors when needed.
• Support healthcare teams by maintaining a welcoming, safe environment.

Facility Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs throughout assigned locations
• Complete regular interior and exterior walkthroughs
• Identify maintenance, safety, and appearance concerns before they become larger problems
• Handle routine issues independently when they fall within the scope of the position

Building Systems & Preventive Maintenance

• Complete assigned preventive maintenance and routine inspections
• Help monitor HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, access systems, and other building equipment
• Recognize when an issue requires additional support or an outside contractor
• Keep the Facilities Manager informed of needed repairs and ongoing concerns
