Job summary

Tallgrass Creek by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to synchronize activities of the General Services Department for assigned neighborhoods. The role liaises between General Services, residents and staff, and oversees external contractors to ensure timely projects.

We expect candidates to have office experience or facilities management exposure, plus a valid driver’s license and the ability to stand, walk, and lift as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1 year experience in an office environment or facilities management.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift heavy items as needed.
  • Working knowledge of building systems preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate re-occupancies of units in assigned neighborhoods.
  • Coordinate special projects following major issues impacting resident apartments/hallways.
  • Select and oversee the work of outside contractors for projects.
  • Communicate with new residents to explain operation of General Services.
  • Investigate complaints, suggestions, and occurrences.
  • Audit facilities for maintenance, repairs, and cleanliness; coordinate repairs.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service by building positive relationships and resident satisfaction.

Job description

Location: Tallgrass Creek by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Facilities Coordinator, where you\'ll synchronize the activities of the General Services Department for assigned neighborhoods.

The Coordinator will liaise between General Services and resident/staff as well as mange the work of outside contractors.

Compensation: Starting at $25/hour, based on experience

How you will make an impact

  • Coordinate re-occupancies of units in assigned neighborhoods

What you will need

  • Preferred: 1 year experience in an office environment or within a department with responsibility for facilities management

  • Valid driver\u2019s license

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely lift, carry, and move heavy items as needed.

  • Working knowledge of building systems preferred

  • Ability to assess resident or other complaints and resolve disputes in a friendly and professional manner

  • Customer service experience preferred

  • Ability to work autonomously
