JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:

The Facilities Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our organization's physical infrastructure. They are responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, productive, and well-functioning environment for all our associates and members.

Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations & Maintenance
  • Make sure the building runs smoothly every day.
  • Take care of heating, cooling, plumbing, electricity, and the outside grounds (through our property management company or any outside vendor)
  • Manage preventative maintenance programs.
  • Quickly oversee any building emergencies and coordinate necessary repair solutions.
  • Inspect building for problems, safety issues or areas of improvement.
Working with Vendors
  • Hire and manage companies that help with cleaning, security, landscaping, waste management, etc.
Safety & Rules
  • Keep the building safe and make sure we follow all laws and codes.
Budgeting
  • Keep track of building expenses.
  • Look for ways to save money.
  • Plan ahead for future building needs.
Space & Projects
  • Make sure the space is being used efficiently.
  • Help plan and manage small building projects like moving rooms around.
Member Experience & Logistics
  • Greet members and associates warmly when they arrive.
  • Make sure the building feels clean, friendly, and organized.
Classroom Setup
  • Get classrooms ready before classes start (preferably the day before)
  • Clean the space, set up tables and chairs, and check that tech equipment works (ask IT for help if needed).
  • Arrange the room based on how many people are coming.
  • Work with the Client Fulfillment Admin to make sure everything is ready.
Food & Breaks
  • Set up coffee, snacks, and simple meals for members.
  • Clean up after breaks and meals.
Shopping & Ordering
  • Shop for class and event supplies.
  • Order food and work with caterers for special meals (dinners or big events).
Hotel Communication
  • Be the main person who talks to the hotel about anything that affects our members’ experience.
  • Update the “Visiting ATI” information on the website when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Organized and punctual.
  • Can solve problems and make decision-making choices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize effectively.
  • Friendly and helpful – focused on keeping both members and associates happy.
  • Can work individually and collaboratively with others.
  • Can lift and move things (up to forty pounds) and handle physical work.

Work Environment:

  • The position is on-site Monday through Friday (this is not a remote job).
  • Occasional evenings or weekends for events.
  • Involves lifting and moving items regularly.
  • Must have reliable transportation to go shopping for supplies when needed.

$24.20 - $43.30

Compensation Frequency:

Hourly

Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role.
