Job summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support Biomedical and Facilities departments. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact for tenants and corporate staff.

  • Schedule delivery and installation of medical equipment.
  • Attend and provide support for national vendor meetings.
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Director of Facilities.

Job description

Job Summary

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Biomedical, Facilities, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Real Estate departments in coordination of the full life cycle of medical equipment from ordering through installation, return merchandise authorizations and repairs, RFP process support, special projects coordination within all areas of support. This role will work closely with all levels in the organization including but not limited to corporate, regional, and operational leadership, IT, technicians, internal colleagues, and external vendors.

  • Point of contact for tenants and corporate staff team members to address property-related issues and coordination of work order requests.
  • Partner with Finance to enter equipment purchases into system for asset management.
  • Processes orders of equipment and parts for the field service team across the organization.
  • Monitor and communicate the organization’s service contracts renewals to optimize value and performance.
  • Schedule the delivery and installation of medical equipment coordinating with the vendor, field service team, operations, and IT as needed.
  • Ensure smooth integration and setup with validation of medical equipment as recorded in the asset management system to include make, model, bar code, and serial number.
  • Special project coordination for all assigned areas of support.
  • Support national rollouts ensuring timely communication and coordination duties to support successful project execution.
  • Serve as liaison between the Biomedical Field Service team and IT to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Attend and provide support for national vendor meetings.
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Director of Facilities, Biomedical, and EHS Support Department to include real estate.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education / Experience / Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Associate and/ or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • One to five years of relevant experience in facilities coordination, purchasing, asset management, real estate, or related fields.
