Job summary

Warren CAT in Texas seeks a Project Manager, Facilities Construction to oversee complex facilities projects from planning to closeout. You will coordinate budget, schedules, and scope, while leading diverse teams and liaising with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong reading of design docs, contracts, and reports, with mobility across Warren Equipment locations.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret plans, contracts, and design documents.
  • Proven track record of keeping projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget and overall execution from planning through closeout.
  • Support vendor selection and review contracts, proposals and project plans for alignment.
  • Track project costs, review pay applications and change orders, and identify cost risks.
  • Monitor schedules, milestones, and performance, addressing delays and coordinating plans.
  • Review design documents and oversee construction progress to ensure quality and adherence to scope.
  • Find, purchase, track, and receive needed components for the project.
  • Proactively identify issues and escalate with recommended solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, facilitating meetings and communicating updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors and consultants to ensure alignment.
  • Identify risks related to cost schedule and quality.
  • Coordinate project closeout, documentation and final inspections.
  • Manage multiple complex projects.
  • Travel to multiple locations in the Warren Equipment territory.

TEAM UP WITH US! The Project Manager, Facilities Construction serves as the organization’s representative for facilities construction projects, coordinating and overseeing activities across all phases of the project lifecycle. This role supports the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with organizational objectives. The position manages multiple construction projects under general supervision.

What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma with 6+ years professional experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years professional experience.
  • Proven experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse groups of teams and keep projects on budget, on time, and within scope.
  • Proven business and personal savvy that inspires and effectively leads project teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as word, excel, and power point.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence on a weekly basis per project.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to interpret and create technical documents.
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints and plans.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation.
