Job summary

Space Exploration Technologies Corp. is seeking a Construction Projects Lead based in College Station, TX.

You will oversee coordination and field execution of facilities construction projects, partnering with design engineers, project managers, and vendors to deliver world-class facilities. You will drive projects from start to finish, maintain daily logs, status and financial reports, and ensure safety and compliance on site, coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams to meet schedule

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in the construction industry.
2+ years of experience leading the coordination of multiple trades on site.
High school diploma or equivalency certificate.

Responsibilities

Coordinate facilities projects to ensure vendors meet standards while delivering promised services, materials, and craftsmanship.
Plan and direct construction activities of internal resources and subcontractors for each phase of construction and lead coordination meetings between trades.
Maintain accurate records of daily logs, progress and financial reports related to construction of facilities.
Enforce contract expectations from subcontractors and communicate discrepancies.
Approve work and authorize payments of subcontractors after thorough inspection.
