Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, MA, is seeking an administrative professional to plan and manage office operations for the Plant Operations team. You will prepare complex reports, support regulatory compliance, and lead the Facilities Work Order system, coordinating with executives, medical staff, and external partners.

A Bachelor's degree is required (or evidence of continuous matriculation with completion within four years).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or evidence of continuous matriculation with degree completion within four years.
• Three+ years of related experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Strong MS Office skills; knowledge of Time and Attendance and Ordering systems preferred.
• HIPAA knowledge; professional, respectful and compassionate demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Prepares complex administrative reports, presentations, statements, rosters, etc.
• Supports Joint Commission regulatory duties and life safety documentation.
• Leads the Facilities Work Order system (design, configuration, reporting, scheduling, vendor coordination).
• Interacts with executives, medical staff, and external partners to relay information and coordinate meetings.
• Maintains recordkeeping and filing systems.
• Supports department scorecard reporting and purchasing/accounts payable processes.
• Assists the Director and supports high-priority projects.
