Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a part-time Janitor to perform general cleaning and preservation across assigned indoor areas for client sites. Responsibilities include floor care, restroom upkeep, waste disposal, and light maintenance activities as specified by each client.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent or at least six months of janitorial experience, with on-the-job training provided. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs.
